Rosie Baert

On January 29, 2022 at the age of 92, Rosie Marie Baert was reunited with her beloved husband Raymond as well as her children Terry John (1956) and Carol Anne (1956). She will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by her children Paul (Holly) Baert and Ann Marie (Kevin) Keough and her cherished grandchildren Lauren (Greg) and Katie (Darren), Ryan, Meghan, Amy (Keenan), Jason and her great grandchild Everett. Survived by her siblings John (Velma) Hensel, Peter (Joyce) Hensel and the late Elizabeth as well as her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Rosie was a long-time parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church and a 60-year member of the Catholic Women’s League. She was an avid bowler and golfer who enjoyed her days at the Wallaceburg Senior’s Centre playing cards. A special thank you to the kind and caring staff at Vision Nursing Home for your wonderful care of Rosie over the last few years. Family and friends are invited for visitation at HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg (519.627.3231) on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 from 5-8pm. Her Funeral Mass of the Resurrection will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at 11am with burial at Riverview Cemetery to follow.
