Rita was a retired Registered Nurse’s Assistant working her entire 40 plus year career at the Sydenham District Hospital. For many decades she walked across the “back field” to her second home at the “SDH”. She loved her job. Caring for the patients of the Wallaceburg Community until her tiny body could no longer rise to the demands of patient care. She equally loved her co-workers through the decades. Lifelong friendships were created at the “SDH”. Mom was blessed with so many wonderful friends over her lifetime and loved them all dearly. Sharing the company of others was a simple pleasure she enjoyed all her life. She was always up for a “mission” and to lend a hand when needed. She knew she was loved; she could call without hesitation knowing, her friends were there for her when she needed them. She loved her boys with all her heart and was a very proud mother. Mom loved to run the roads, in constant pursuit of the bargain, a new store or just to go for the sake of going somewhere. She loved her dogs and anyone else’s pet. She shared in everyone’s love and heartache in their ownership.
