Lowell Dalgety Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

With heavy hearts we must announce the passing of Lowell Morgan Dalgety, a longtime resident of Sombra, Ontario on May 17, 2021 at Bluewater Health in Sarnia. Born August 3, 1933 in Becher, Ontario to the late Morgan S. and Maude (nee Deyo) Dalgety. Predeceased by his loving wife Juanita A. Dalgety in 1992. Lowell will be loving missed by his wife Margarida Tavares-Dalgety. Survived by his children Robert (Laurie) and Rusty (Susie). Poppa of Robbie (Tina) and their children; Aliyah (Aden) and Hunter (Reegan), Poppa of Spencer (Jamie) and their children; Austin and Sommer, Poppa of Nathan (Cassie) and their son Hudson, Poppa of Matthew and Poppa of Lowell Jr (Keke). Step-father of Christina (Jason) and their daughters Sophia and Calla, step-father of Caroline and her daughter Maia. Dear brother of Carol (the late Jack) Bell and their children Janice and David, brother of Ariel (the late Al) Mann and their children Susan and Blake. Lowell will be fondly remembered by the many people he met over the years as owner and operator of the Daldean Bluewater Ferry in Sombra. A special thank you to all the staff on the 5th Fl. Family and friends are invited for visitation at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg on Thursday, May 20 and Friday, May 21 from 1-4pm and 6-9pm.
