Kenneth Andrew Blackbird, a member of Walpole Island First Nation, passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at the age of 57. Ken is the son of Kenneth Blackbird Sr and the late Muriel Soney. Loved father of Jolene Marie and Tasonna Eryn Blackbird. Dear grandfather of Zoey, Marcia, Everett, Llewyn, Ava and Emery. Brother of Kanathea, Amanda and Tammy Blackbird. Ken was an auto mechanic with a love for animals and a passion for fast cars. He was much loved and his sense of humour, wit, thoughtfulness and generosity will be missed by his aunties, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Family and Friends are invited for visitation at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg from Noon – 3 PM on Friday, May 27 with a feast to follow at the Walpole Island Sports Complex.
