Donna Taylor, a lifelong resident of Sombra, lost her spark for life after the lengthy isolation and restrictions on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at the age of 94. Beloved wife of the late James ‘Jim’ Taylor (2002). She will be missed deeply by her children Ron Taylor & Sue Moran, Don & Debbie Taylor, Judy & Phil Bezaire, Tom & Patti Taylor, James & Cathy Taylor, her wonderful grandchildren Jennifer, Jeffrey, Julie, Casie, Robert, Tina, Sue Ann, Kimberly, Craig, Allan, Paul, Jamie Lee, Jacob, Jenna, Adam, Jeremy and her many great grandchildren as well as her nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late James and Luella Thomas and dearest sister of the late Muriel and Ruby. Donna will be always be remembered by many as the Brigden Fair Apple Lady, for her deep passion of quilting and as a lifelong member of the C.W.L. She worked hard all her life at various jobs, most notably Hargrove General Store (Sombra) and Snyeview Orchards. Donna was an outgoing person who loved the colour red and her music, especially dancing ‘Disco Donna’. Family and friends are invited for her Mass of the Resurrection at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Port Lambton on Monday, August 16, 2021 at 11am.
