Carol Sherwood Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Carol Ann Sherwood of Chatham and formerly of Wallaceburg passed away peacefully at the CKHA in Chatham on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at the age of 66. Carol is the daughter of the late James & Yvonne (Bechard) Sherwood. Beloved wife of Dan Christian. Loving mother of Richard Gustin, William Yensen and Yuri Medina and considered a second mother to Darlene Parker, Tamra Denomme, Tasha Crew, Melissa Millen, David Richards and Dwight Ellis. Dear sister of Sue Poole (Kevin), David Sherwood (Mary) and the late Randy Sherwood. Loving Aunt of Kyle Poole, Chantelle and Stephanie Sherwood. Dear Grandmother of Stephanie, Kaylee, Tiandra, Robert & Silver and great grandmother of Bentley. Carol had retired from Great West Life as an insurance claims specialist. She loved to create, painting, crocheting, needlepoint and making Christmas decorations. She also adored being by the water and visiting her favourite place Niagara Falls. Family and friends are invited for visitation at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg, on Friday, December 3 from 1 – 4 PM. A celebration of Carol’s life will follow at 4 PM.
