Albertje ‘Tina’ Van de Beld, A longtime resident of Wallaceburg passed peacefully at Riverview Gardens in Chatham, Ontario on June 15, 2022 with her family by her side in her 96th year. Born in Vollenhove in The Netherlands, Albertje was the daughter of Egbert and Aleida Lassche. Beloved wife of the late Evert Van de Beld (2001) Loving and cherished mother of Bert (Wilhma) Van de Beld, Ruby Giethoorn (Jamie Daley), Aleida (Mannes) Seinen, Gerri Paulovics (Chris Heath). Grandmother of Brianne, Michael, Angela, Jessica, Jolanda, Melissa, Robert, Sheralyn, Andrew, Kelsey, Mitchell, Sarah, Renee, Leah, and 8 great grandchildren with 2 on the way. She is survived by her sisters in The Netherlands, Jentje Schaapman, Aaltje Doosje, Jennigje Ballast, Harmke Maandag, her sister-in-law Vrouwk ten Napel, brother-in-law Jan Driesen as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her sisters, Geertje Westhuis, Jantje Driesen and her brothers Dirk Lassche and Albert Lassche. We would like to give a heart felt thank you to all the 5th Floor East staff at Riverview Gardens for your care and compassion of Mom over the last 4 years. Tina’s funeral service will be held at the Wallaceburg Christian Reformed Church (150 Bruinsma Ave. Wallaceburg) on Monday, June 20, 2022 at 1pm with visitation from 12-1pm. She will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband at Riverview Cemetery following the service.
